What you need to do...

You must write to NATS (the National Air Traffic Service) who are proposing these changes.  They work for the CAA (Civil Aviation Authority) so you must write to them too and copy to them your letter to NATS.  Your letters must arrive by 19th June 2008.

As the CAA work for the DfT (Department of Transport) it would be good to write to the DfT too, and copy to them your NATS letter.  Also you can write to six politicians who have an interest - see below for details.

THE BEST THING YOU CAN DO IS COMPOSE YOUR OWN LETTER, BECAUSE THIS HAS MORE WEIGHT WITH THE AUTHORITIES. TO HELP YOU DO THIS, CLICK ON THE FOLLOWING LINKS TO TAKE YOU TO THE RELEVANT IDEAS :

However, if you don't have time for this, click on the following links to take you to the relevant example protest letters :

Download these, and remember to date and sign your letters and enclose a copy of your NATS letter to the CAA and a copy of both the NATS and the CAA letter to all the politicians.

Note that your downloaded letter will have more impact if you personalise it - that is, what do these changes actually mean to you personally. Try to use the information in our standard letters, and add your personal slant. Personal letters carry much more weight than template letters.

And Finally....Stop these proposals in their tracks using a judicial review. We believe this was done successfully to the NATS proposals to fly over the New Forest. To support our campaign for a judicial review, click here.

So, that’s one letter to NATS, one to CAA, and seven politicians, with copies of the NATS and the CAA letter included in all ….   Easy!.... Well Done!.... You Care!....
